Position: Business Development Representative
Number of hours: 10 hours/week
Schedule: 10AM - 1PM or 1PM - 4PM Toronto Timezone (EST)
The Role
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Specialist to drive growth and generate new opportunities in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales and marketing, proven lead generation skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, setting appointments, and presenting tailored proposals that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients in the B2B sector
Conduct market research to identify prospects, industries, and opportunities for growth
Perform outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate leads and secure appointments
Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth sales process
Leverage AI tools to enhance lead generation, outreach, and reporting (a strong plus)
Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and progress using CRM or tracking tools
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Business Development or in a similar sales-focused role.
Solid background in sales and marketing, with B2B experience strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in lead generation and appointment setting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Familiarity with AI tools for sales/marketing automation is a strong plus
Experience working with North American clients is an advantage
Knowledge of the Plastic Industry is a plus
Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
