Job Openings Podcast Video Editor - SaaS

About the job Podcast Video Editor - SaaS

Position: Podcast Video Editor

Number of hours: Project Based

Schedule: Flexible

About the Project

We're producing a high-quality, YouTube-first legal podcast and looking for a video editor who lives and breathes the Diary of a CEO style — clean cuts, dynamic pacing, strong visual storytelling, and a polished finish that keeps viewers watching. Think tight pacing, purposeful B-roll use, graphic overlays where appropriate, and an eye for social-worthy moments.

What You'll Do

  • Sync and assemble multi-camera footage into a compelling full-length episode (typically 60–90 minutes).

  • Clean and balance dialogue audio.

  • Trim dead air and tighten pacing without losing the natural flow of conversation.

  • Label and rough-cut 4–6 strong social clip moments within the timeline.

  • Build rough timelines for vertical social cutdowns (final polish handled internally).

  • Maintain an organized Premiere project structure that our internal team can easily pick up for final polish, packaging, and distribution.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience editing long-form podcast content in a Diary of a CEO, Huberman Lab, or similar premium YouTube podcast style. (must requirement sample)

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with Autopod for multi-cam sync is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of dialogue cleanup and audio balancing.

  • Comfortable working within an established workflow and receiving structured, direct feedback.

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.

  • Adequate local storage capacity to manage large 4K media files.

The Engagement

We're starting with a single episode edit — estimated 2–4 hours for an experienced editor. Strong candidates will be considered for ongoing work as the show grows. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term creative partnership from the ground up.
