Position: Senior E-commerce / Shopify Specialist
Number of hours: 20 hours/Week
Schedule: Australian Time Zone
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Shopify e-commerce stores, including products, collections, pricing, inventory, and website content.
Develop and implement strategies to improve online sales, conversion rates, and store performance.
Customize and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and integrations.
Monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a smooth customer shopping experience.
Manage product listings, descriptions, images, SEO, and merchandising.
Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and customer data to identify opportunities for growth.
Coordinate with marketing, design, customer service, and other teams to support e-commerce initiatives.
Implement and optimize Shopify features, third-party apps, payment gateways, and e-commerce tools.
Stay updated on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices.
Lead or support e-commerce projects, process improvements, and store migrations when needed.
Mentor junior e-commerce team members and provide technical guidance when required.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin, Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and store configuration.
Experience with Shopify Plus is an advantage.
Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, and online merchandising.
Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or similar analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Experience in project leadership or mentoring team members is an advantage.
Strong understanding of current e-commerce trends and best practices.
A Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
