Position: Business Development Manager (Venue Acquisition)
Number of hours: 20 hours/Week
Schedule: Spain Time Zone
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
Build and manage a pipeline of potential venue partners aligned with the client’s business expansion goals.
Research and identify suitable hotels, event venues, hospitality properties, and partnership opportunities in the US, UK, and Australia markets.
Conduct outbound prospecting and outreach to introduce the company and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key hospitality decision-makers, including:
Hotel Owners
General Managers
Directors of Sales
Sales Managers
Event Managers
Revenue Managers
Other relevant venue stakeholders.
Manage and track leads using CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
Utilize LinkedIn, Apollo.io, RocketReach, and other prospecting platforms to identify and connect with potential partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential venue acquisition targets.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, conversations, follow-ups, and partnership progress.
Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, outreach results, and acquisition opportunities.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, or related roles.
Proven experience working with hotels, hospitality companies, event venues, restaurants, or related industries.
Strong background in venue acquisition, partnership development, B2B sales, and lead generation.
Experience identifying and engaging key decision-makers, including Hotel Owners, General Managers, Directors of Sales, Sales Managers, Event Managers, and Revenue Managers.
Hands-on experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales tracking tools.
Proficiency in LinkedIn prospecting, Apollo.io, RocketReach, and similar outreach platforms.
Strong skills in market research, prospecting, outreach, and relationship building.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
Knowledge of hospitality, events, and international business development processes is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote, results-driven environment with strong organization and follow-through.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
