About the job Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial documentation, including payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Review billing notes and perform preliminary verification before processing, including follow-up on collections and withholding tax matters
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of payment documents, and execute payments in accordance with company policies and timelines
- Monitor and record bank transactions, including deposits and payments, ensuring proper reconciliation
- Record all financial transactions accurately in Microsoft Dynamics AX (AP, AR, and Cash Management modules)
- Prepare and issue withholding tax certificates in compliance with local regulations
- Support the preparation of cash flow reports and financial summaries for management review
- Coordinate with internal departments, debtors, creditors, and financial institutions to resolve financial-related matters
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, cash flow, and financial documentation)
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data validation, and reporting) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Corporate Internet Banking platforms is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in handling financial data
- Ability to follow structured processes and work under supervision
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome
