About the job Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial documentation, including payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents in an accurate and timely manner
  • Review billing notes and perform preliminary verification before processing, including follow-up on collections and withholding tax matters
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of payment documents, and execute payments in accordance with company policies and timelines
  • Monitor and record bank transactions, including deposits and payments, ensuring proper reconciliation
  • Record all financial transactions accurately in Microsoft Dynamics AX (AP, AR, and Cash Management modules)
  • Prepare and issue withholding tax certificates in compliance with local regulations
  • Support the preparation of cash flow reports and financial summaries for management review
  • Coordinate with internal departments, debtors, creditors, and financial institutions to resolve financial-related matters
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, cash flow, and financial documentation)
  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data validation, and reporting) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Corporate Internet Banking platforms is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in handling financial data
  • Ability to follow structured processes and work under supervision
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome
