BI Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a BI Analyst / Developer to take ownership of reporting, dashboards, and data pipelines across multiple business units.This hybrid role combines business problem-solving + technical data execution, ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable reporting systems while working closely with stakeholders.You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Shopertainment (Live), Marketplace, Ads, Video, and Sales — leveraging modern tools and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards using tools such as Looker, Metabase, Google Sheets
• Ensure dashboards are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs
• Monitor data accuracy and proactively identify inconsistencies
• Build and maintain data pipelines using BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), and Sheets integrations
• Ensure smooth data flow across systems and teams
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
• Support reporting across multiple business functions:
  • Shopertainment (LIVE): Viewer metrics, stream performance
  • Marketplace: Sales performance, product-level data
  • Ads: Spend, ROAS, campaign performance
  • Sales: Commission tracking, billing, and revenue insights
• Write efficient SQL queries to clean, transform, and structure data
• Develop fact and dimension tables for scalable reporting
• Define and align KPIs with stakeholders across departments
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate SQL development, analysis, and documentation
• Support insight generation and anomaly detection using AI
• Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure business accuracy
• Automate repetitive reporting processes (Python is a plus)
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and reporting issues
• Maintain data documentation and data dictionary
• Ensure consistency, reliability, and governance of data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience in data / analytics
• 1–3+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or Reporting roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase)
• Comfortable working with Google Sheets and structured data
