Technical Executive

Job Overview

The Technical Executive (Live Production Team) is responsible for managing the technical setup and execution of live streaming sessions across social commerce platforms, particularly TikTok Live.

This role ensures seamless live production by handling equipment setup, streaming software, and real-time technical troubleshooting. The position plays a critical role in maintaining production quality, minimizing disruptions, and supporting high-performance live commerce operations.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate live streaming equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio systems, and streaming devices
• Manage live streaming software (e.g., TikTok Live Studio, OBS, Streamer Desktop) to ensure smooth broadcast execution
• Monitor live sessions in real-time and troubleshoot technical issues promptly
• Coordinate with hosts, producers, and content teams to ensure proper live setup and execution
• Ensure all technical elements (visuals, sound, connectivity) meet quality standards before and during live sessions
• Conduct pre-live checks and testing to prevent technical disruptions
• Support recording and post-production needs when required
• Maintain and organize technical equipment, ensuring proper usage and upkeep
• Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and best practices in live streaming and production
• Support special projects, live events, or ad-hoc production requirements as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in live production, streaming, or technical operations
• Experience in social commerce or live streaming environments is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with streaming tools such as OBS, TikTok Live Studio, or similar platforms
• Understanding of camera setup, lighting, and audio systems
• Basic knowledge of networking and streaming stability (internet, bitrate, latency)
• Familiarity with video formats, encoding, and live broadcast workflows
