Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will play a role in the development of tender projects and future business prospects. This individual will establish strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implement these strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify key growth, strategic, and optimization opportunities through data and communicate findings to business teams.
  • Manage and train a team of junior data analysts
  • Own & manage the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards.
  • Work with large datasets on data extraction, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by identifying, structuring, and executing product and performance analyses.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with the product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to drive key business decisions.
  • Design, perform and analyze A/B tests with Growth team
  • Empower teams with actionable insights, and reduce the number of business decisions made without data
  • Conduct training sessions on data analytics for other teams in the company
  • Analyze industry and market focusing on growth, market share, profitability, recent developments and other similar indicators to identify competitive position
  • Clearly understand the customer requirement and prepare the scope for the solution development.
  • Assess and address technical risks from the development point of view for a requirement.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) major in Marketing or graduate in CSE (IT background will get preference).

Additional Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience;
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for driving improvements, enhancements, and/or creations of new applications.
  • Develop technical proposals & documentation (i.e., white paper, case study, expertise in a specific technology, architecture, etc.)
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
  • Perform product demos, presentations, and training for customers.
  • Ability to evaluate, define and prioritize activities/projects for self and others
