Business Reporting Analyst

Job Context:

Riseup Labs seeking a highly skilled Business Reporting Analyst with advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of spreadsheet-based data manipulation, strong understanding of DAX and Power Query and a proven ability to generate meaningful insights from complex datasets. Excellent English communication skills are essential for creating clear reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Use advanced formulas (e.g., INDEX-MATCH, ARRAYFORMULA, QUERY, SUMIFS, INDIRECT, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) for complex data analysis.
• Create dynamic models, pivot tables, and data visualizations to support business decisions.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly in written and spoken English.
• Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot any discrepancies or reporting errors.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, formulas, and processes for transparency and scalability.
• Understanding of data privacy and handling confidential information.
• Generate detailed and insightful reports for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science will be advantage but not required)

Additional Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (must demonstrate strong use of advanced formulas and tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage large datasets efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good at presentation and client management skills.

• 07.00 PM - 04.00 AM

Salary:
