Job Context:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and NestJS to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable APIs, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready applications. You should be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS
  • Implement business logic and backend features
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Ensure API security (JWT, authentication, authorization)
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable TypeScript code
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in backend development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
  • Good experience with NestJS framework
  • Proficiency in TypeScript
  • Experience with databases: MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB
  • Experience with ORM tools (TypeORM, Prisma)
  • Knowledge of REST API design principles
  • Understanding of async programming and event loop
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and deployment process
  • Familiarity with Linux server environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Redis or caching strategies
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka)
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

Workplace: 

  • On-site (Kazipara)

Working hour:

  • 8AM to 5 PM

Salary: 

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)
