We are currently looking for a Team Leader – Landscape Maintenance to lead daily service crews, deliver excellent results on-site, and grow into a long-term leadership role within our organization. Wage & Work Schedule
Hourly Wage: $25–$30/hr, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 Hours a week
Winter Schedule: Depending on operational needs, a 4-day work week option with higher winter pay rates
Travel Time: Paid travel time between the yard and job sites

Job Duties
As a Team Leader – Landscape Maintenance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of commercial landscape maintenance services while leading your crew and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to contract standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and working alongside a crew performing commercial landscape maintenance services, including mowing, trimming, blowing, and general site care
Operating and overseeing the use of landscape maintenance equipment, including 2-stroke trimmers, blowers, and ride-on mowers
Safely driving company trucks and trailers between the shop and job sites
Assigning daily tasks, providing clear direction, and supporting crew performance on-site
Ensuring all customer service contracts are properly equipped, supplied, and completed on schedule
Conducting daily circle checks on vehicles and trailers, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
Following all WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Completing final site inspections to ensure quality and consistency
Identifying site issues or additional service opportunities and reporting them to the Operations Manager
Communicating clearly with the Operations Manager regarding schedules, timing, site conditions, and operational needs
Winter Operations:
Participating in snow and ice management services as required
Operating winter equipment, which may include pickup or larger trucks with plows and spreaders, skid steers, and loaders
Using hand tools such as shovels, snow blowers, backpack blowers, and handling de-icing materials safely
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience (required)
Previous experience leading or guiding a crew is strongly preferred
Valid driver's license, a clean driver's abstract & experience driving trucks with trailers
Comfortable operating landscape maintenance equipment
Strong plant identification skills (preferred)
Horticulture education or certification is an asset, but not required
Physically fit and able to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Available for winter on-call snow and ice management
Reliable, organized, and professional with strong communication skills
Legally entitled to work in Canada
