Functional Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Functional Engineer to support enterprise systems and business process initiatives within a complex technology environment. This role will be responsible for analyzing workflows, documenting functional requirements, supporting ERP or enterprise platform initiatives, and ensuring business processes are properly aligned with system functionality.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and process-oriented thinking with the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
• Support ERP or enterprise platform initiatives through functional analysis and process mapping.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve system functionality and operational processes.
• Support process modeling and workflow definition activities.
• Participate in system enhancement, implementation, or optimization initiatives.
• Maintain documentation related to workflows, functional requirements, and system processes.
• Support testing, validation, and process improvement activities when required.

Must Have Requirements

• Experience working in Functional Analysis, ERP Support, Business Systems Analysis, or related roles.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of UML, BPMN, or process modeling methodologies.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience working with business processes and enterprise workflows.
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise transformation or process optimization initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
