About the job Guest Service Agent
Responsibilities and duties :
- Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner according to Hotel standards
- Guest service agents answer telephone calls from guests
- They greet arriving guests, assign rooms, issue keys, and collect guest payment and billing information
- Agents answer guest requests for assistance and coordinate with housekeeping.
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required.
- Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances correctly at theend of shift
- Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Follow company brand standards
- Assist other departments, as necessary.
- Monitor stock and order office supplies
