About the job Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and counsel to the CEO and Board on long-term planning, capital deployment, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation initiatives.
- Assess and guide investment decisions, partnerships, acquisitions and divestments with full financial evaluation, diligence and integration oversight.
- Ensure timely and compliant SGX disclosures, financial reports, announcements and regulatory filings.
- Support the Board and Audit Committee on governance practices, risk oversight, internal controls and regulatory adherence.
- Lead statutory reporting cycles, sustainability disclosures (as applicable) and annual general meeting preparations.
- Oversee all core finance functions including accounting, consolidations, statutory reporting, tax, treasury and audit.
- Strengthen financial discipline across project cost management, margin analysis, WIP monitoring, contract variations, claims and revenue recognition under POC.
- Oversee financial risk frameworks covering credit, foreign exchange, liquidity and contract exposures.
- Ensure appropriate insurance, bonding and risk mitigation mechanisms are in place.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
- Prior experience within an SGX-listed organisation is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in real estate, engineering, infrastructure or other project-intensive sectors.
- Deep understanding of corporate governance, SGX listing rules and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in project finance, cost control, cash flow management and complex contract environments.
- Strong background in capital markets engagement, banking negotiations and investor relations.
- Commercially driven, hands-on, and adept at navigating both strategic boardroom discussions and operational site needs.
