+ KEY OBJECTIVES

GENERAL MANAGEMENT: 

  1. Develop and manage overall business plans and budgets for the Cambodia operation.
  2.  Take the business forward providing vision, inspiration, and professionalism of the highest standard.
  3.  Maximize profits and return on investment over the long term by the prudent and efficient use of resources.
  4. Ensure all departments achieve profit targets, maintain margins, and control expenses as detailed in budgets and business plans.
  5. Develop and manage a national sales and service network that maximizes market share, minimizes costs, and provides a great customer experience.
  6. Manages the Dealership relationship with the Auto vehicle brand.

SALES & AFTERSALES:

7. Work with and oversee Departmental Managers to ensure adequate inventory for demand without being excessive.

8. Look for ways to increase market share and exploit new markets to achieve or exceed dealership and manufacturer objectives.

9. Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction (measured according to OEM practices) and the lowest rate of customer defection without sacrificing profitability.

10. Continuously refine and improve the quality of customer interaction, satisfaction, and retention by working towards improving standards, and providing the best facilities and the highest technical skills.

11. Ensure the highest standards of customer relations management to ensure all customers continued loyalty.

12. Ensure through the after-sales team that vehicles under repair are repaired in an expeditious manner and to international standards.

MARKETING:

13. Manages the specification, model mix, ordering & pricing of new vehicle stock, evaluating part exchange vehicles and pre-owned car stock turn decisions.

14. Regularly review pricing policy, discounts, and trade-in dealing to ensure profitability level is maintained.

15. Develop and manage marketing campaigns including prospecting, internet use, and all forms of advertising and promotional activities to ensure their success and cost-effectiveness.

16. Explore and research customer opinions and their satisfaction with the services provided by the businesses Ascertain and benchmark performance levels and identify requirements for improvement.

17. Inspire the local staff to develop new ways to proactively market the vehicles.

Provide an environment where all new suggestions and ideas are fully explored and exploited so that the dealership will prosper in the most cost-effective manner possible.

18. Ensure that any electronic information such as CRM, e-mail links, and website data is accurate and kept up to date.

19. Work with the sales team in managing and developing sales to both retail, fleet & diplomatic clients.

20. Effectively manages the relationships between the Auto Luxury brand business and both internal and external stakeholders (including finance leasing companies, suppliers, vendors, shareholders, official bodies, and business groups)

FINANCE, TREASURY, AND GOVERNMENT:

21. Work with Group Treasury and external creditors to ensure proper funding of the business.

22. Work with financial institutions to develop hire purchase and retail credit programs for clients.

23. Work with Directors and Government Agencies for the proper importation of vehicles at the correct legal customs duty and tax rates.

24. Ensure proper homogenization of future vehicles.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

25. Ensure that changes in regulatory requirements are understood and, where necessary, working practices changed.

26. Stay up-to-date with technical developments in the industry.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

27. Develop and manage overall business plans and budgets for the operations.

28. Develop and manage pricing policies & discounts.

29. Maintain departmental cost control.

30. Maximize gross profit per vehicle sold.

31. Manage the P&L and deliver on Budgeted Sales Volume, Revenue, Margin, Expense, and Net Profit targets.

++ JOB REQUIREMENT 

  1. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  2. At least 7 years of direct work experience in Automotive Dealership / Sales management
  3. Proven track record in profitable P&L management.
  4. Ability to connect with high-net-worth individuals, with a flair to build & enhance relationships.
  5. Strong understanding of the management of social media marketing.
  6. Whilst no specific degree or certification is required it is anticipated the position holder will be educated to degree level and, ideally, also hold an MBA.
  7. Ideally, be fluent or highly conversant in Khmer.
  8. Ability to set goals and priorities maximizing the use of available resources to consistently deliver results in line with corporate directions, departmental objectives, and customer expectations.
  9. Ability to understand a problem and devise a workable solution.
  10. Ability to persuade, convince, influence, or impress others to achieve a desired effect or impact a course of action.
  11. Ability to think out of the box, and to adopt a new or original approach towards actions and work.
