Global Fleet Sales (GFS), a division of RMA Group of Companies, is responsible for sales of Ford fleet vehicles and modifications to the Aid & Development sector, commercial accounts and government agencies.
By working closely with the Global Fleet Sales team in Thailand and overseas, the Sales & Marketing Analyst will conduct research, collect and analyze data from reliable sources, and present the findings with recommendations based on the data to help the business with decision-making. This could be researching a specific product (e.g. aerial platform) and country (e.g. Vietnam) to decide whether RMA should enter that market by looking at types of products available in-country, competitors, suppliers, customers, etc.
Functional responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support sales team to prepare proposal, presentation and host customer visit
- Prepare and organize sales reports
- Perform research, collect and analyze information, and use the data to improve/guide the decision-making and efficiency of the business
- Study the data and present recommendations to the Regional Sales Manager
- Research market trends, conduct surveys, analyze data from competitors, and analyze the business’s operations, expenditures, and customer retention to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements
- Organize and store data in a secure and easy to retrieve manner for future research projects
- Onsite customer visit/interview for extend findings and studies
The position is based in Bangkok and there will be around 10-15% traveling for trade shows, exhibitions, and automotive working group to the competitors and suppliers, as well as RMA locations-Dubai, Turkey, Indonesia etc.
To be considered, you must meet these basic requirements:
- Around 5-7 years of experience in business analysis and tracking, identifying opportunities and trends
- Demonstrate a track record of doing research leading to sales
- Strong usage skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SalesForce, and Adobe design suite
- Good communication and command of written and spoken Thai and English
