About the job Assistant Legal Manager

Job Descriptions: 

  • Drafting legal report related to all business division of RMA Cambodia and related companies. 
  • Reviewing contracts, preparing application forms for approval, license, permit, registration of the business, products or services and preparing legal advice on the same.
  • Assist in communication with Government and Regulators, Authorities, etc.
  • Assist in preparing all notices and disclosures (periodic and continuous) are properly made to the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain statutory books, secretarial records, including registers of members, directors and secretaries
  • Assist in overseeing the systems that ensure the company complies with all legal and statutory requirements
  • File any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the companies in Cambodia as an authorized representative. 
  • Archiving all important data.
  • Ensure that affairs of the company are managed in accordance with its objects contained in the articles of association and the provisions of the Companies Law.
  • Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
  • Keep informed and up to date of laws, regulations specially related to company business.
  • Draft/update templates and working tools assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in law or equivalent in a related field
  • at least 5 years of working experience in a law firm, in-house legal department or similar field.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Khmer.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills and use of logic to address work-related issues and problems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple work demands.
