Strategy and Development

1. Overall responsibility for Piaggio activities across the business

2. Create and implement best practice RMA vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance

3. Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities

4. Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process

5. Take ownership of the business policy, guidelines and any associated documents

6. Initiate and develop creative and innovative HED processes

General and Task Management

1. Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programmers across all areas of responsibility

2. Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering world class customer service levels

3. Coordinate team activities to optimize cost performance of the plant through capital investment programmers, optimizing operating working capital usage and minimizing waste through the development of a continuous improvement culture encompassing lean principles and clear strategic development

4. Develop and manage master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines

5. Drive improvements in reliability for key aspects of machinery by completing reliability studies and identifying best planned maintenance strategy

6. Manage the accurate and on-time introduction of new products

7. Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution

8. Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to

People Management

1. Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions

2. Establish strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.

3. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance

4. Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements

5. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors

6. Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables

7. Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles

8. Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate

Supply Management
1. Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
2. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
3. Determine key supply chain KPIs
4. Suggest solutions for process improvements
5. Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
6. Train and evaluate others
7. Provide constructive feedback
8. Work with finance, sales, and others team to determine best vendors and distributors
9. Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

1.Educated in BA in any related skills
4. Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
5. Proven project management and build quality experience
6. Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
7. Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes, components and manufacturing techniques
8. Strategic thinking, organizational awareness and decision making
9. Mentoring, coaching & performance management
