The Network Development Specialist will work alongside the Operations and Network Manager to manage and grow the distributor/sub-dealer network within the Agricultural business across Thailand, as well as supporting new project development to expand business opportunity and revenue.

Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Co-ordinate maintain a process for distributor/sub-dealer recruiting, appointment and termination.
  • Co-ordinate brand distribution footprint planning for Thailand.
  • Co-ordinate the distributor/sub-dealer contract database for Thailand
  • Co-ordinate and conduct the annual distributor/sub-dealer review process, including business meeting and conference.
  • Lead and manage sub-dealer standards program.
  • Monitor sub-dealer performance and identify areas of non-performance.
  • Propose and manage sub-dealer upgrading actions for non-performing distributors.
  • Provide sub-dealer with business mentoring as required.
  • Maintain high level relationships with key customers, dealers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support new project development to expand business opportunity and revenue
  • Contribute to developing the market representation strategies for each business line. (Short, Medium and Long-term)
  • Understanding of market needs and expectations in respect of product, after sales support and distributor performance.
  • Thorough understanding of franchise and distribution management.
  • Good understanding of business systems and processes.
  • Set annual business goals/target and budget, in alignment with the organizations financial and operational objectives.
  • Highly developed administrative and communication skills.

Background and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, engineering, or the equivalent fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in distribution and franchise/network development, preferably in automotive and agricultural industries.
  • Proven track record of managerial experiences and skill in franchise and network development.
  • Experience with, or detailed understanding of, managing dealer networks.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain large scale customer and supplier relationships.
  • Proven history of developing and executing on business strategies.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence and results orientation.
  • Language Requirement(s): Thai and English
