Overview of the Role
The APAC Fleet Sales Executive is responsible for developing and expanding vehicle fleet sales across selected Asia-Pacific markets. This role focuses on managing existing customer portfolios, identifying and securing new fleet customers, and driving revenue growth. As a key contributor within the Ford Global Fleet Sales (FGFS) team, the role works closely with regional partners, fleet distributors, and multinational organizations to strengthen RMAs market presence and achieve sustained sales success across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across the Asia-Pacific region while maximizing profitability
- Expand fleet business into new and emerging markets
- Develop partnerships with new customers, vehicle modifiers, and multinational organizations
- Formulate and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across assigned markets
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing customers
- Collaborate with local partners and customers in each country to explore new sales prospects
- Engage with customers and end-users to identify new vehicle and product requirements
- Develop and maintain market intelligence on upcoming projects, trends, and competitors
- Understand regional market dynamics and competitive positioning
- Apply strong negotiation skills to close deals and enhance customer engagement
- Ensure financial targets related to sales volume, revenue, and margins are achieved
- Manage pricing strategies and budgets to support profitability
- Report directly to the Regional Business Manager – Asia Pacific
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Product Development, Sales Administration, Marketing, Logistics, and Production
- Coordinate with regional vehicle modification partners to ensure successful project execution
Background and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven international sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of automotive market trends and fleet sales operations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Energetic, results-driven, and customer-focused professional with a proactive mindset
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Basic knowledge of financial sales, trading services, and fleet management
- Understanding of automotive modification processes
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems
Additional Details
This role requires frequent travel (approximately 30–50%) across Asia-Pacific countries, reflecting the regional scope of responsibility and the need for close engagement with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
