Factory Deployed Engineer

A manufacturing engineer who gets things done through software? Help reindustrialize America, one factory at a time.

A fast-growing, seed-stage company builds AI-driven precision manufacturing with online quoting and very fast turnaround. This isn't a classic software job: you're a manufacturing engineer who owns factory projects end to end and gets them done through software, from quoting and scheduling to shop-floor automation and data.

They're hiring 2 factory deployed engineers now, with more seats to follow.

• Software that runs machines and processes on the floor
• Vision and sensor projects that make the factory faster

Must-haves

• You've built systems that touch the physical world, with real manufacturing or hardware dependencies
• Zero-to-one or small-team work where you owned whole projects
• 2+ years of experience (roughly 2–5)
• In person in Detroit, 9-9-6 (relocation needed)
• US citizen or green card holder

Bonus points

• Formula SAE, rocketry or similar engineering-competition teams
• Vision or sensor work
• CNC, machining or shop-floor experience

What's in it for you

• $120k–$200k base
• A mission-driven, fast-growing team with real factories

Good to know

• Full-time, in person in Detroit, 9-9-6
• Process: call with the product manager → technical interview with a code test → founder interview (scenarios and values) → on-site at the factory → offer

When you apply, please include

• Your CV (PDF), your LinkedIn URL, and a link to a project if you have one
• A system you built that runs a factory or touches hardware, and the outcome
