Job Openings Software Engineer – Logistics AI

About the job Software Engineer – Logistics AI

You design systems, not just tickets, and you own them from interface to data pipeline. Build the core product behind AI agents for global logistics.

A seed-stage AI startup in San Francisco helps freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and carriers create AI agents for their most critical work, and counts some of the biggest names in logistics among its customers. Every customer request goes into one core product, so you build things once and build them well, across Python, Next.js and Node.

They're hiring 2 full-stack engineers.

What you'll own

  • Critical projects from first design through launch and continuous improvement
  • The full stack, from user interfaces down to the data pipelines behind them
  • Architecture decisions, code review standards and tests
  • Helping newer engineers grow

Must-haves

  • You take features from idea to production in Python, TypeScript and Next.js, reasoning from the ground up
  • Real architecture experience: you can walk through your design choices and how they performed over time
  • A strong signal: a top university, a recognised high-growth startup, or a fast rise where you made a real difference early on
  • 2+ years of experience; ownership and growth matter more than years
  • Working from the San Francisco office five days a week, 9-9-5

Bonus points

  • Early engineer at a fast-growing startup
  • Logistics or supply-chain tech experience
  • Coaching or mentoring other engineers

What's in it for you

  • $150k–$200k base + 0.3–0.7% equity
  • Real ownership of a product that customers depend on every day
  • Team dinners every day, travel budget, and medical, dental and vision insurance

Good to know

  • Full-time, on-site in San Francisco, 9-9-5
  • Visa options are limited to US citizens, green card holders, H-1B and TN; please share your exact status
  • Process: profile check → brief call with the CEO → technical interview of about an hour and a half → half a day at the office → possibly a work trial → offer

When you apply, please include

  • Your CV (PDF), your LinkedIn URL, and GitHub if you have one
  • A system you owned: your design, the reasoning behind it and how it performed
  • Your current location, and confirmation that five days a week in San Francisco works for you
  • Your visa or citizenship status
  • Your base salary expectation, your notice period, and any other interview processes you're in
