Are you passionate about creating delicious, plant-based food that inspires consumers and drives innovation in the vegan market? Our client, a leading Vegan Meals Producer in London, is seeking an NPD Manager to lead the development of new products (NPD), work on existing product improvements (EPD), and innovation projects across their growing vegan product range.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced NPD Manager or Senior Food Technologist, or Development Chef with a genuine interest in vegan and vegetarian food trends, to shape the future of plant-based eating.

What You will Do

• Lead the end-to-end NPD lifecycle: from concept generation to successful commercial launch.
• Translate market insights, food trends, and customer briefs into commercially viable vegan products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Procurement, Technical, Packaging, Operations, and Grower Sites to deliver high-quality launches.
• Drive innovation in production,  trialling new methods, machinery, and processes to optimise efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure on-time, in-full launches while maintaining compliance with legislation and industry standards.
• Monitor post-launch performance and continuously improve to drive growth and value enhancement.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience in New Product Development within the food industry (fresh, chilled, or branded FMCG).
• Strong track record of delivering successful product launches, ideally within plant-based, vegan, vegetarian, or fresh food categories.
• Commercially aware, trend-focused, and passionate about bringing innovative vegan products to market.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Location: West London
Salary: up to £65,000 + bonus, negotiable, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
