Job Title: Baker (Danish & Pastry Production)
Location: Soho or Covent Garden locations
Shifts: 5 days per week (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), rotating shifts. Must be available working weekends and bank holiday.

Our client, a boutique bakery coffee shop, is renowned for its artisanal doughnuts, danishes, and pastries inspired by classic French patisseries. They are now looking for a talented Baker to join their creative team and help them continue delighting customers with their Instagram-worthy, mouth-watering creations.
Job Overview:
As a Baker, you will focus on producing and decorating a variety of high-quality Danish pastries, working within a small, collaborative team. This role will allow you to perfect your craft and help maintain the bakery's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry Preparation & Baking - Craft a variety of Danish pastries and bakery items with precision and care.
- Pastry Decoration - Ensure all pastries are beautifully decorated to meet the bakery's high visual and quality standards.
- Team Collaboration - Work alongside another baker to maintain a smooth, efficient production process
- Production Support - Assist with daily baking and decorating tasks, ensuring the team is prepared for the following days production.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Baking Skills Strong experience in producing cakes, cookies, pastries, and other confections.
- Expertise in Baking Techniques Consistently deliver high-quality results in terms of texture, flavor, and appearance.
- Proficient Equipment Operation Competence with ovens, mixers, and baking molds, with attention to detail in baking times and temperatures.
- Ingredient Knowledge Familiarity with key baking ingredients such as flours, sugars, fats, and leavening agents.
- Decorating Expertise Skilled in icing, glazing, and other finishing techniques to create visually appealing pastries.
- Dough Preparation Knowledge Basic understanding of kneading, proofing, and shaping dough is an added advantage but not essential.
Pay: £12 to £15 per hour, with some room for negotiation for the most experienced talents
