Were seeking an experienced Store Manager to take full ownership of the shop's daily performance and lead a high-performing team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the front-of-house and barista team to consistently deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain store cleanliness, visual standards, and overall presentation in line with brand guidelines
  • Monitor product quality and ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage ordering processes efficiently
  • Coordinate and oversee equipment maintenance and shop readiness
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, ensuring alignment with brand culture
  • Develop and manage rotas based on operational needs and labour control
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure alignment of stock and display requirements
  • Monitor P&L performance, manage budgets, and work towards achieving sales targets
  • Act as a brand ambassador, setting high standards for professionalism, energy, and team spirit

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a high-volume café, bakery, or coffee shop
  • Strong barista skills and understanding of specialty coffee culture
  • Experience leading medium to large teams in a hospitality setting
  • Skilled in training, performance management, and team development
  • Sound knowledge of stock control, budget management, and operational P&L
  • Excellent multitasking, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on approach and confidence in leading from the front
  • High standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • Positive, energetic, and resilient in fast-paced environments
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Availability to work weekends, bank holidays, and varied shift patterns
