Brief Introduction to the Company:
Our client is an award-winning halal food brand that specialises in premium halal products from ready to eat cooked chicken to pre-packed fresh meat and frozen products. All beautifully branded and packaged. Their cooked chicken is HFA (Halal Food Authority) certified and their fresh meat is HC (Halal Consultations) certified.
All their products are prepared with the utmost respect for the principles of halal (permissible) and tayyib (good, pure, virtuous), which is a requirement for the diet of Muslims. Factory is also halal accredited.
Recently company moved to a brand-new factory which have already received Salsa accreditation and aiming to have BRC in 2021.
Brief Description of Position:
Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sales Account Management team. In this role you will manage existing Foodservice accounts as well as hunt for new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with red meat / meat burgers category and track record of new business generation, great in negotiations and closing sales.
- Manage sales of meat burgers products to Restaurants, Contract Distributors, and Caterers in London
- Manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
- Maintain customer relationship through provision of excellent customer service
- Grow and develop the new customer base
- Ensure the department hit / exceeds annual sales targets.
- Execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- A good knowledge of meat category is a must
- A proven track record in selling to the Foodservice industry.
- A hunter who is happy to work in a field and search for new business opportunities
- Track record of closing deals
- Strong communication and negotiations skills
