About the Role
We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to develop and ship high-quality, responsive front-end features primarily using React. The role involves collaborating with product and design teams to deliver seamless user-focused solutions and integrating with a Rails backend. The ideal candidate is driven by a strong product mindset, focused on optimizing front-end performance, and committed to maintaining clean, scalable code.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and ship high-quality, responsive front-end features with React.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Work with backend engineers to integrate with a Rails environment and ensure smooth data flow.
Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Track and analyze user interactions to guide feature improvements.
Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable front-end code.
Contribute to technical discussions and product decision-making.
Use modern development tools to speed up coding, testing, and iteration.
Requirements
5 plus years of experience building modern web applications with React.
Solid knowledge of front-end best practices in accessibility, responsive design, and testing.
Understanding of how to work within a Rails environment, including API integration and backend collaboration.
Experience working closely with product and design teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
Strong product mindset, motivated by solving customer problems and improving outcomes.
Familiarity with analytics to inform design and iteration.
Comfortable using new tools and approaches that improve development speed and efficiency.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
