About the Role
We are seeking an Australian Property Market Research Analyst to drive engagement across our platforms by researching and summarizing key property data and market trends. Your insights into macro and micro movements across the Australian housing market will drive our content, strategy, and positioning. You’ll be central to spotting trends, translating data into digestible insights, and building research-backed narratives that make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive research into the Australian property market, covering macroeconomic indicators, regional trends, demographic shifts, and housing policies
Interpret economic indicators such as ABS data, RBA announcements, CoreLogic reports, and housing market indexes to generate insights
Conduct comparative market research across different states, cities, and suburbs to identify emerging hotspots and investment opportunities
Develop written reports and briefs summarising property data, pricing trends, and investment risks for internal or client-facing use
Stay updated on regulatory changes (e.g., tax policies, lending laws, zoning regulations) that impact Australian property investing
Evaluate data from multiple sources (public datasets, agency reports, market listings) to provide strategic recommendations
Support content or strategy teams with accurate data, visualisations, and insights for use in newsletters, reports, videos, and more
Build internal databases or trackers to help monitor key property metrics over time
Collaborate with marketing or education teams to ensure property insights are translated into digestible formats for broader audiences
Requirements
Strong understanding of the Australian property market, including key drivers, economic influences, and regional dynamics
Demonstrated experience in property research, analysis, or real estate investment (personal or professional)
Ability to interpret and extract insights from data sources such as ABS, RBA, CoreLogic, SQM Research, and government housing reports
Familiarity with property-related regulations including tax, lending policies, and planning/zoning laws
Proficient in using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualisation platforms to analyse and present findings
A strong background in economics is essential for this role.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to be part of a growing brand.
Experience with video editing, YouTube content creation, or production workflows would be an added advantage..
