About the job Head of Analytics & Performance

3P Media, part of Roar Global, is seeking a Head of Analytics & Performance who will specialise in tracking and implementation while playing a pivotal role in assisting clients with the setup, migration, and optimisation of Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate tracking, robust analytics frameworks, and performance-driven insights for client websites and digital campaigns. In addition, you will be collaborating with clients and internal teams to implement tracking codes, configure GA4, leverage GTM to capture data effectively, optimise Google Merchant Center integrations, and translate data into actionable performance strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business goals, tracking requirements, data intelligence needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs), translating them into effective measurement strategies.
  • Set up and configure Google Analytics (GA4) properties, including migrations from previous versions, while managing account structures, user permissions, and measurement frameworks to ensure reliable data collection and reporting.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure tracking implementations follow best practices, conducting regular audits, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain tracking integrity and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and analyze analytics data to identify tracking gaps, discrepancies, performance trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations that improve campaign performance, optimize ROI, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and privacy compliance across marketing systems while developing scalable optimization frameworks, performance forecasts, and growth strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Translate complex technical insights and analytics findings into clear business impact and strategic recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers.

Core Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Google tracking frameworks and end-to-end analytics.
  • Ability to guide clients through platform setup, optimization, and performance measurement (especially Google)
  • Proven experience in data interpretation and translating insights into performance-driven strategies.
  • Technical proficiency in GA4 configuration, GTM deployment, and effective data capture.
  • Expertise in optimizing Google Merchant Center integrations and leveraging feed data.
  • Skilled in Google Ads metrics and linking GA4/GMC to maximize advertising performance.

Google Analytics & Measurement

  • Configure Google Analytics accounts, properties, and data streams.
  • Define comprehensive tagging strategies, including event tracking and custom dimensions.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy, tracking integrity, and reporting.
  • Utilize BigQuery for data collection, processing, and visualization.
  • Apply knowledge of data structures and APIs to effectively collate and manage data streams.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Implementing GTM on client websites
  • Creating and managing tags, triggers, and variables
  • Collaborating with developers for proper implementation
  • Conducting tracking audits and troubleshooting issues

Google Merchant Center

  • Seamlessly link GMC with Google Ads and GA4 to improve tracking and automate bidding.
  • Understanding at fixing product errors and resolving data sync issues within GMC.
  • Audit the connection between GMC and Google Ads to ensure product IDs and custom labels report accurately.

Performance & Analytics

  • Setting up conversion tracking and Google Ads integration
  • Monitoring analytics for gaps, trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Generating actionable insights for performance improvement
  • Recommending enhancements for better data-driven decisions

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Working with clients to understand KPIs and business goals
  • Supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Providing training on GA4 ,GMC and GTM usage

Additional Requirement:

Knowledge and hands-on experience in DV360 (Display & Video 360) will be considered an added advantage.
