About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Appointment Setter to join our team. This role involves conducting outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure qualified appointments, primarily with U.S.-based prospects in the education or B2B SaaS sectors. You'll be instrumental in managing outreach cadences, maintaining CRM records, and collaborating with sales teams to drive high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting and cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate qualified appointments with U.S.-based prospects.

  • Research and identify potential leads, including navigating university org charts and decision-maker mapping.

  • Manage daily outreach cadences using CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach tools (e.g., Lemlist, Apollo).

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead statuses, and follow-ups in HubSpot CRM.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for sales representatives, ensuring calendar coordination across U.S. and Australian teams.

  • Report weekly progress, pipeline metrics, and outreach performance to the Australian reporting team.

  • Tailor outreach messaging for different stakeholders (universities, registrars, alumni offices, or SaaS prospects).

  • Continuously optimise email deliverability, messaging effectiveness, and outreach sequences to improve conversion rates.

  • Stay updated on academic calendars, graduation events, and industry workflows to time outreach effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting (preferably U.S. market).

  • Prior work in education or B2B SaaS strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in American English with a confident phone presence.

  • Proven success in cold outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn with measurable results.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications in HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or cold outreach are a plus.

  • Strong organisational skills with disciplined CRM management and follow-up.

  • Self-motivated, persistent, and target-driven with the ability to handle objections.

  • Comfortable using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gmail/outreach tools, and Google Workspace.

  • Bonus: experience working with universities, registrars, alumni offices, or academic calendars.

Timezone

  • This role requires a 4-hour working overlap in both Eastern Standard Time (EST) and Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Candidates should be prepared to accommodate their schedules accordingly.
