About the job Production Line Manager – Water Treatment Systems
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Line Manager to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of industrial water treatment systems. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with reverse osmosis (RO) and similar systems, and a strong understanding of mechanical, piping, and system integration processes.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production execution, proper resource allocation, and complete and accurate production and quality documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily production activities to ensure timely completion of systems
- Allocate and coordinate workforce and resources across multiple production stages
- Oversee assembly of piping systems, pumps, valves, instruments, and control systems
- Ensure all production and quality documentation is properly prepared and maintained
- Enforce compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate system testing, including pressure testing and factory acceptance tests
- Ensure systems are fully prepared for delivery, including documentation and packaging
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and operations teams
Documentation Responsibilities (Critical)
The Production Line Manager is responsible for ensuring preparation, completeness, and traceability of documentation, including:
- Production records such as welding logs, piping installation records, and cable labeling journals
- Quality control documents including inspection checklists, pressure test reports, flushing records, and pre-commissioning checklists
- System documentation such as equipment passports, FAT reports, and final documentation packages for delivery
- Identification and traceability records including serial numbers and nameplate verification
All documentation must be completed during production, correctly linked to each system, and included in the final delivery package.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience assembling industrial reverse osmosis (RO) systems or similar water treatment systems (essential)
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of industrial piping systems, pumps, valves, and basic electrical systems
- Experience with production planning and resource allocation
- Familiarity with quality control processes and technical documentation
- Ability to manage multiple systems in parallel
