As part of their commitment to nurturing early-career talent, they seek a motivated and ambitious Trainee Sales Executive to join their Sales and Business Development team in PH, Nigeria.

This fixed-term contract role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to develop a long-term career in sales, with hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to the Protective, Marine, and Decorative Coatings sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Shadow senior sales executives during meetings and presentations to learn sales techniques.
  • Support in preparing and submitting quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
  • Follow up with clients for feedback, orders, and payment collections.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems and customer records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support overall sales and customer service efforts.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to build product knowledge and sales capability.
  • Gradually take on responsibility for individual sales targets as experience grows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A degree in business, marketing, or a related field (for decorative), chemistry, paint technology, or chemical engineering (for PC/marine).
  • Strong interest in building a sales career in the coatings or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and self-driven.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel and work in a client-facing role.
