Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who will play a vital role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel their product innovation, marketing intelligence, and enterprise client success. Working across their flagship platforms - RiskAct and OpenRiskLab - you will apply advanced analytical methods, AI-assisted modelling, and data visualisation to enhance decision-making across their clients, partners, and internal teams.
This is initially an equity-only, 100% remote, part-time role (8-10 hours, flexible), and you'll be joining a high-performing, innovative and international team.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our Software Engineering, AI/Data Science and Product teams to uncover insights from structured and unstructured datasets that shape product strategies and business initiatives.
- Analyse and interpret multi-source data (user behaviour, cyber risk metrics, market trends, etc.) to identify commercial opportunities and enhance customer engagement.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, automated reports, and visual analytics using open-source tools (e.g., Plotly, Metabase, Superset, Grafana, Power BI, or Tableau Public).
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to prepare and validate datasets for AI/ML models supporting cyber risk prediction and compliance analytics.
- Design robust data models and analysis frameworks while ensuring alignment with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI standards (GDPR, DORA, ISO 27001).
- Leverage AI-assisted analytics (e.g., LLM-based data summarisation, anomaly detection, NLP-driven business insight extraction) to accelerate data interpretation.
- Translate technical findings into non-technical insights and actionable recommendations for business leaders, clients, and PR/marketing stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate open-source and AI-driven analytics tooling to improve data accessibility and visualisation across the organisation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, ideally within cybersecurity, fintech, or regulatory technology.
- Proven track record working with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL, and data visualisation libraries.
- Experience with open-source BI tools and data analytics pipelines across AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modelling, data storytelling, and AI/ML integration for business insight generation.
- Familiarity with data governance and privacy frameworks such as GDPR, SOC2, DORA, and CCPA.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to bridge technical complexity and business context.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment, ideally interfacing with marketing, product, or commercial teams.
- Bonus points for experience with LLM-based analytics tools, data automation (Apache Airflow, Prefect), or cyber risk intelligence analytics.
