About the Role:

Our client is a premier pre-media and print services provider that partners with some of the largest, forward-thinking companies in the world to help innovate their brand through print and print-related materials. They are based in Broadview, IL, have been a market leader for over 40 years, and employ close to 100 people throughout the Chicagoland area.

They are looking for a driven, innovative, and motivated individual who is willing to work hard and be a team player. In this opportunity, your daily duties will be to perform a variety of billing, estimating, and research tasks that will align with the internal needs of the company as a Print Estimator.

  • Analyzing jobs to account for all costs, including researching shipping costs and production costs
  • Create accurate invoices in the system by calculating and altering costs then follow through on the approval process with sales
  • Review and make necessary changes to previously established jobs as required for reprinting
  • Review daily employee production time reports confirming accurate data collection, and provide accounting any adjustments
  • Assist in completed job analysis, comparing estimates to actual costs
  • Advise management of any discrepancies that require attention
  • Organize documentation and analyze jobs once complete and review billing for accuracy


  • Technical or vocational degree in graphic arts or related field or equivalent printing estimating and/or planning experience
  • 2+ years of estimating/billing experience with sheetfed and web/web in-line, print/bindery, and letter shop/direct mail, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent math skills are essential with strong attention to detail
  • Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make quick, informed, and accurate decisions with project developments
  • Proficient computer skills, in Word, Excel, Outlook, company-specific software systems, and new technologies
  • Excellent customer service and business relationship skills
  • Customer Service background in the printing industry or Estimating background is a bonus
