RQ08280 - Project Manager/Leader - Senior

Deliverable:

Project Management, development of Request for Bids (RFB) and activation activities for these RFBs and other large scale enterprise projects. Including the management of various project activities including but not limited to Baseline data collection and engagement with Broader Public Sector (BPS) entities, development of Requests for Bids (RFB), Executive reporting, Stakeholder engagement, vendor transition planning and execution, strategy development. Provide project management leadership and expertise to support the category team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.
2. Ensures project deliverables meet clients business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.

Evaluation Breakdown

1. Public Sector Experience - 35%

Describe your experience managing public sector projects involving IT procurement.

Parameters:

• Should include knowledge of Category Management phases and approach.
• Should include knowledge of OPS and Broader Public Sectors in Ontario.
• Should include knowledge of OPS/IT Project Management governance.

2. Experience managing IT infrastructure - 20%

Describe your experience managing IT Infrastructure and related services vendor transitions.

Parameters:

• Should include knowledge of ITS services and related transition services.
• Experience with OPS Enterprise Project Management requirements will be an asset.

3. Communication - 15%

Provide examples of effective communication in various scenarios which mitigated and resolved complex issues.

Parameters:

Demonstrated experience of working with key stakeholders and using communication skills to negotiate and documenting any process related intelligence.

Must have:

• OPS exp, led large GOV projects. blend of exp working with stakeholders / leading IT projects.
• familiarity with ITS - enterprise PMO exp
• vendor management and transitions
• Windows 11 migration project / migration strategy /digitalworkplace project / work-print project.
• exp with migration project - ability to communicate part of migration.
• strong communication - demonstrated exp.
