Job Title: Senior Carer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Carer to join our team in a Home Care environment. The Senior Carer will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients, supervising and training junior carers, and ensuring that all care plans are implemented effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a passion for providing exceptional care to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to clients in a Home Care environment
- Supervise and train junior carers
- Ensure that all care plans are implemented effectively
- Monitor and report on clients' health and well-being
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans
- Ensure that all care provided is in line with regulatory requirements and best practices
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a care environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing exceptional care to clients
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable
