Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Contracts Manager to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the main point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters on projects, both internally and externally

- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favorable to the company

- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts

- Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing appropriate solutions

- Prepare and submit progress reports to clients, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met

- Provide guidance and support to project managers and other team members on commercial and contractual matters

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards

- Manage and resolve any disputes or claims that may arise during the project lifecycle

- Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanical engineering industry

- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual processes and procedures

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

- Knowledge of Irish construction laws and regulations is highly desirable

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
