Due to rapid and expansive growth, our client is looking for a motivated and proactive Junior HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team in Dublin.
Position Overview:
The Junior HR Advisor will support the HR department in delivering a comprehensive HR service to the business. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their HR career and gain experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing offers.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain and update recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Provide first-line HR support to employees, answering company policies, procedures, and employee benefits queries.
- Assist in managing employee relations cases, including notetaking in meetings and supporting investigations.
- Help coordinate and manage employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Prepare HR-related documents such as contracts, letters, and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing by providing relevant employee data to the payroll department.
- Support the delivery and coordination of training programs, including scheduling sessions and maintaining training records.
- Assist in the development of training materials and resources.
- Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing ideas and assisting with implementation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment law and assist in updating company policies as required.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Experience with HR software and systems is an advantage.
