Job Title:

Garden Nursery Retail Sales Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with enquiries about plants, gardening supplies and related products

• Ensure a positive customer experience

• Promote and sell nursery products including plants, soil, fertilisers, pots and accessories

• Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and handle cash accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of retail area and outdoor displays

• Assist with stock control and replenishment of shelves

• Support seasonal promotions, displays and special events as required

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

• Previous retail experience desired but not essential – training will be provided
• Interest in plants, gardening or landscaping desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales oriented mindset with the ability to upsell and recommend complementary products
• Ability to work outdoors and perform tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual
• Monday to Friday but some occasional weekend work required
