Job Description:

• Deliver top-quality design and specification services to existing customers.
• Provide a seamless, well-managed design service from enquiry through to full project delivery and aftercare supervision.
• Ensure all design and specification details are delivered from concept to completion.
• Produce detailed bills of materials and scopes of work for each project.
• Create all necessary design detailing, including cross sections and specifications.
• Develop 3D modelling and visual aids, including CGI.
• Produce detailed and precise construction drawings.
• Provide build assistance for all in-house design and build projects.
• Create interpretive designs for drawings provided by other designers.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers at senior levels to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Support lead generation and sales administration, aiding in the development of new contracts in accordance with the marketing plan.
• Maintain and update the CRM to ensure the management and marketing team have visibility of ongoing sales activity.
• Ensure the design and specification of projects, detailing all necessary elements to achieve successful project delivery with the expected profit margin.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, handling any issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Manage the phone and email enquiry lines for prospective customers.
• Keep detailed records and correctly file all data and drawings.
• Assist the marketing and business development team in lead generation and managing outbound sales activity.
• Support sales administration and CRM management, assisting in maintaining essential data.
• Manage all steps in the design and project management delivery, ensuring detailed process adherence and successful project delivery.
• Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth business operations.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

• Previous landscape design experience - 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD/Vectorworks, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently without supervision, meet targets, and work collaboratively as a team player.
• Honest and straightforward communication with both customers and team members.
• Team-oriented, self-starter, pleasant, helpful and optimistic.
