About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our client's busy HR team within a fast-paced financial services office based in Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources and office administration within a professional and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR team.

  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process including posting job adverts, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

  • Support onboarding and induction processes for new hires.

  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, reference letters, and policy templates.

  • Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and compliance documentation.

  • Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities.

  • Provide assistance in organising training sessions and performance review logistics.

  • Handle HR-related queries and direct employees to appropriate resources.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth administrative operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information.

  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work as part of a small, dynamic team.
