Pharmacist Garfield County Hospital (Pomeroy, WA)
Rural Staffing Services is proud to partner with Garfield County Hospital in the search for a Hospital Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations and deliver high-quality patient care in a rural setting. This is a full-time position (32-40 hrs/week) serving as the designated Pharmacist in Charge.

Key Responsibilities

Provide quality pharmaceutical care including selection, monitoring, modification, and dispensing of therapy.

Lead the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee alongside the Medical Director.

Document drug information, adverse drug reactions, and stewardship activities.

Promote adherence to the GCHD Drug Formulary.

Teach, direct, and mentor pharmacy students and medical assistants.

Maintain strong communication with medical staff and the community.
Qualifications
-
Required: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Washington.

Preferred: Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency or Fellowship.

Experience: Anticoagulation therapy, TPN, Vancomycin dosing and monitoring, drug information, and inventory management.

24 years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
