Coding & HIM Manager Privacy Focus

Rural Staffing Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Coding & HIM Manager to lead a high-performing revenue cycle team in a vibrant coastal Washington community. This role oversees coding and health information management operations, supports a team of coders, and serves as the organization's Privacy Officer,  ensuring patient information is handled with the highest level of care and compliance.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor a talented coding and HIM team.

• Support coders with questions and development.

• Oversee privacy policies, compliance, and investigations.

• Ensure coding accuracy, timely reporting, and regulatory compliance.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• RHIA or RHIT certification (or in progress).

• 5+ years in coding or HIM leadership.

• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and a passion for privacy (training provided if no direct privacy experience).
