Rural Staffing Services is partnering with Klickitat Valley Health to recruit a Physical Therapy Assistant who will play an important role in supporting patient recovery across inpatient, swing-bed, and outpatient settings.

Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, this role helps patients improve mobility, strength, and functional ability while supporting treatment plans designed to restore independence and quality of life.

The Physical Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in carrying out treatment plans, supporting patient progress, and helping individuals recover safely after injury, illness, or surgery.

The Opportunity

Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide therapy interventions for inpatient, swing-bed, and outpatient patients
Assist patients with ambulation, mobility, transfers, endurance, and balance training
Support the development and execution of patient-centered treatment plans
Document patient progress and response to treatment
Assist with therapy group programs and individual therapy sessions
Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and recovery plans
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes

What We Are Looking For

Education
Graduate of a two-year Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
OR
Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant as defined by HFCA Conditions of Participation

Licensure & Certifications
Current Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license
Current CPR certification

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Pay: $33.76 – $41.15
