About the Role

As Manager of Emergency Department & Express Clinic, you will help oversee daily operations, staffing, clinical performance, quality initiatives, patient flow, and team development throughout the Emergency Department and Express Clinic.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting day-to-day department operations

Coaching and mentoring charge nurses and clinical staff

Managing staffing and scheduling processes

Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Supporting patient throughput and operational efficiency

Assisting with departmental budgeting and resource management

Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence

Supporting emergency preparedness and disaster response readiness

Serving as a visible leader and trusted resource for staff

This role serves as an important bridge between frontline teams and organizational leadership.

Qualifications

Current Washington State RN License

Current BLS and ACLS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience required

Emergency Department experience preferred

Charge Nurse experience preferred

5-7 years of nursing experience preferred

2+ years of leadership experience preferred
