As a Nursing Leader in a rural community, you will be at the heart of healthcare operations, providing leadership to your team and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines to ensure safe, effective patient care.

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgets, and resource management, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Promote a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement within the nursing department.

  • Provide guidance and support for professional development and training opportunities for nursing staff.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to enhance patient outcomes, address community health needs, and improve the overall healthcare experience.

  • For CNOs: Lead strategic planning for nursing services, implement department goals, and work closely with executive leadership to drive the overall direction of the hospital's healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure (or eligible for licensure in the respective state).

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. A Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, with a strong background in nursing practice.

  • For CNOs: Previous experience in a CNO or executive nursing leadership role preferred.

  • Passion for leading in a rural healthcare setting and making a meaningful impact on a small community.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support your team.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • A desire to grow personally and professionally while fostering growth in others.
