What You'll Do

• Lead payroll operations with accuracy, timeliness, and zero-guesswork precision

• Oversee payroll staff mentor, support, and guide with steady leadership

• Ensure compliance with federal/state payroll regulations and organizational policy

• Partner closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, and department leaders

• Review, refine, and strengthen payroll processes and internal workflows

• Audit records, adjustments, deductions, overtime, benefits, and PTO values

• Serve as the point of stability during organizational transition and change

What You Bring

• Prior leadership experience within payroll,  preferably in healthcare

• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax withholdings, and compliance practices

• Ability to handle confidential data with maturity and professionalism

• Experience supervising payroll teams or managing the full payroll cycle

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational rhythm

• Calm energy in fast-moving environments and a knack for clarity under pressure
