Job Title: Risk and Regulatory Manager

Location: Jersey

Salary:  £55,000 - £70,000 neg

A bit about the department:

Due to the continued growth of our Advisory practice and the increasing regulatory demands that are placed on our clients we are looking to recruit a Jersey Risk and Regulatory manager to further grow and develop our regulatory offering.

Job Description:

  •  Lead engagement teams taking overall responsibility for the delivery and development of client services, business development, client relationship management, quality assurance and resource management. They will be responsible for helping our  clients navigate through increasingly complex regulatory changes, and advise on governance and oversight functions.
  • Be the main liaison with clients building deep and trusted client relationships
  • Assist advisory leadership in the preparation and delivery of client pitches and proposals
  • Develop own and team knowledge of all KPMG service lines to enable cross-selling of multidisciplinary services
  • Direct, coach and mentor peers and junior team members to assist in their personal development and in the effective team delivery of engagement services to the required high standard
  • Maintain commercial awareness and knowledge of the financial service industries in Guernsey and Jersey and maintain an awareness of worldwide current affairs and industry standar

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified, country equivalent or similar professional relevant qualification
  • Manager level experience
  • Detailed understanding and awareness of regulation (International and/or local) and current regulatory hot topics is desirable
  • Exposure to managing multiple and complex engagements
  • Demonstrable financial and commercial analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and people development skills
