As a Remote Paraplanner, you will support financial advisors by preparing comprehensive financial plans, conducting research and analysis, and helping ensure clients receive personalized, strategic guidance. You will be responsible for developing reports, modeling financial scenarios, and drafting recommendations that align with clients short- and long-term financial goals.

In this role, you'll gather and organize client data, evaluate investment portfolios, assess insurance coverage, and assist in retirement, tax, and estate planning strategies. You will use financial planning software to build accurate and compliant plans, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to the overall client experience by delivering a high standard of support to the advisory team.

You'll collaborate with advisors, compliance teams, and administrative staff in a fast-paced, remote environment. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze financial data from clients, including income, expenses, investments, insurance, and retirement plans

Prepare and update financial plans using software tools such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or RightCapital

Create client-ready presentations, summaries, and planning documents

Model cash flow, retirement projections, and what-if scenarios

Perform research on investment options, insurance products, and tax strategies

Assist advisors with client meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up

Ensure all planning documents comply with internal policies and industry regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA)

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Redtail, Wealthbox)

Support ongoing client service and help refine the planning process and tools

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, or related field

2+ years of experience in a financial planning or paraplanner role

Proficiency with financial planning software and Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities remotely

Understanding of investment and insurance products, retirement accounts, and estate planning concepts.
