We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and highly organized HR Specialist to support and execute core human resources functions in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for employee relations, HR operations, compliance, onboarding, benefits coordination, and policy administration while ensuring adherence to federal and state employment regulations.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management

Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with labor laws

Coordinate employee benefits, leave administration, and payroll-related documentation

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

Assist with recruitment processes, interview coordination, and candidate communication

Ensure accurate maintenance of HR systems, files, and confidential employee data

Support employee relations matters and escalate issues when necessary

Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations

Prepare HR reports, documentation, and audits as required

Collaborate with management to support performance management and HR initiatives

Required Qualifications

Must reside in the United States

Must possess a valid government-issued ID (e.g., U.S. Passport, Drivers License, State ID)

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role

Knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and/or Google Workspace

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a fully remote or distributed workforce

Familiarity with HR compliance audits and documentation

Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus

Technical Requirements

Personal computer capable of supporting secure remote systems
